Meet Dr. Prashant Gupta
Dr. Prashant Gupta, MD, MBA is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with years of experience in urgent care and primary care.
After decades in high-pressure ERs and Urgent care, he witnessed too many preventable hospitalizations, too many missed connections in care. Patients weren’t lacking doctors — they were lacking access, continuity, and trust. MDhome was born from his conviction that healthcare should be proactive, not reactive; personal, not transactional. By delivering full-spectrum care directly to the home, Dr. Gupta’s vision is to bring humanity back into medicine - one visit, one patient, one home at a time.
Decision
Determined to make a change, Dr. Gupta pursued advanced training in disease prevention, primary care, and lifestyle medicine , shifting his focus from reactive treatment to proactive health.
Then came a defining moment
A patient with a chronic condition, worn down by endless hospital visits and fragmented care, first met Dr. Gupta in the Urgent Care. Moved by his empathy and attentiveness, the patient later reached out directly. What followed was transformative. Over the next several months, Dr. Gupta became more than a doctor, he became a partner in the patient’s healing journey: fine-tuning medications, introducing sustainable lifestyle changes, and scheduling regular virtual check-ins.
What began as a one-time encounter evolved into a trusted, continuous relationship, one that broke the cycle of preventable hospitalizations and put the patient back in control of their health.
In 2025, MDhome was born - the result of Dr. Gupta’s decades in emergency medicine, preventive care, and concierge practice. Today, our team brings hospital-grade diagnostics, urgent care, and lifestyle-driven care directly to your doorstep.
